Froudy 40 Posted July 20, 2013 Report Share Posted July 20, 2013 Hi lads, My dog escaped from my garden this morning and my neighbour found him at 9 am and took him to the nearest vets as they didn't no it was mine, so they then rang the council dog warden who then took him, as soon as I knew that he was missing I called the police to see if anyone had handed him in and also call the local vets and one inform me that it had been found and that the council warden had him so I call the warden out of hours and they said I can't have my dog back till Monday and I would be charged £136 + vat and then £13 a night and then a vet check over, I explained that it was my dog and I could pick it up today but they said they was not giving me their name or address until Monday, so I said I would report them for theft so I ring the police and they ring the warden and ring me back saying I can't collect my dog till Monday and they don't no the address as it is the policy of the dog warden to keep it quiet until they ring me Monday to collect money, what a load of boll*cks, does anyone know where I stand on this as I ain't happy and the police are useless!
