Thinking Of Changing My Car / Motorpoint.

Recommended Posts

Looking to change my car and wondered if anyone, has had any dealings with Motorpoint, the nearest one to me is Glasgow.

Think I've went past that, its near parkhead right? Looks big. Don't think they'll rip you off anymore than any other dealer will mate

Aye same one. Don't know if you've been there mate but there is about a mile of car dealers on that stretch. Might be worth a visit and look around. Should get competitive prices

I've never heard of it but it sounds like carcraft where i used to work, Just remember when you are negotiating say your average £13k car they have about £5k profit in that car to play with!

Also if you have a part ex i would advise a private sale but if you do part ex make sure you check exactly what youre getting, In my place the manager would value their car and i just told the customer the finance figures. Last year i part exed a 52 plate 1.4 clio in pretty good nick. The lad wanted to pay £200 a month and we managed that price without considering his part ex so my manager valued his clio at £10. I was ashamed but its my job, He was welcome to check the paperwork but didn't bother so he sold us his car for £10. Just be aware, I am a car salesman and i will admit that garages will rip you off any way they can, its a money game

A mate of mine works for one in Manchester.

They buy cheap, sell reasonable and do lots of business.

Watch out for the Finance Options, Warranties, Extended Cover charges etc, thats where they can stuff you.

HTH.

Cheers, D.
