not the best of pics as i took t on my phone, its over 100 yrs old and still works, also has 2 different power settings, there hasnt been much change in pribcipal to spring air rifles over the last 100 yrs

Is the spring in the pull length tube beneath the butt-stock? How does it cock?

yes the spring is below the stock,the rifle is complete, it has a break barell action but the is a lever at the breach that has to be pushed forward to lock the breach, if you break the barrel you can pull it half way down and it will click or pull it all the way for full power :)

A collector or valuer might say to keep it as it is. Restoring it to as near to mint condition is to remove the rifle's history in its patina. It shouldn't be allowed to deteriorate any further, mind.

Very true Simon but sometimes restoring a rifles shooting ability but not its external appearance can help with value.

Although this depends on who the valuer is and also on if you can source original or make exact parts for it.

 

Defiantly needs to be looked after though.
