Golf Course With Hmr

Recommended Posts

One thing you could do if you find it too much with the Hornady tips is try the jacketed 20 gr. Might cause less damage. Not seen them used so can't comment on the relative killing / destructive power, I'm sure others can. However. I see no problem even with the damage you're showing with headshot. As others have said, its totally humane which is the main consideration in my book.

Thanks Alsone, I started with those but moved to V-Max after finding batch inconsistancies

Thanks for the comment

Cheers dedger, yes I did mate. Thanks for the info. Also found my local shop will almost match the price when asked

Uploading a short clip of rabbit shooting at the moment that was taken last week. I'll post the link as soon as its done :)

Would your local shop be the one on the main road through Lancaster? I went in there the other day to buy a 22-250 off him and he literally just sold it as I walked in the shop, Gutted!!!.

Its funny how they all lower their price when you say you will take your business elsewhere, I think there are way too many inconcistences with prices of HMR, £10 cheapest £17.50 dearest I have come across so far, all for the same make.

I know, its ridiculous isn't it! Yeah my main shop is the one on the main street, nice little shop and very handy too. Malmo's is also a cracking little place too but just a bit further out
