Electricians Advise Or Anyone That Knows Wiring Please Help

iv got a dome cctv camera here that im trying to wire up to work ,iv got a charger for the mains 9v with a black + white wire and a black wire coming from it . then iv got a lead that goes into the back of the tv its got a red wire coming from it and a copper wire , now on the dome camera,which is a codel: n25gb professional varifocal dome camera theres a red yellow white + 2 black wires all steming out of one black wire could some one help me , and give me an idea of which wires need to be clipped together to get this camera to work please ? :hmm: i had it off a mate hes said it works ect but getting him around to help wire this is not happening, hes got a lot on so i thought id ask you knolegable bunch :laugh: any help is much appriciated, thanks foxtails :thumbs:

if theres a red white and yellow wire coming from the camera just hook it to your tv using a scart-phono adapter,

get pics up, if you can be easier to advise you, as there is alsorts of differant connectors used on camera,

so the yellow wire coming from the camera connects to the tv / red wire ? what about the adapter that iv tp plug in to the mains theres a black + whit wire and a black wire coming from it which wire from the camera connects to the plug ? as a plug im using a 9v charger as the last camera i tried to wire up i used a normal 240v plug and blew it,..................... so need some good advice please guys :thumbs:

Have a look on youtube there should be some instructional vids on there. :thumbs:

black wire = positive wire to the charger , black and white = negative, if your using a charger with a jack plug end look on maplins and get the female end to it..

yellow from camera should go onto your yellow phono socket on your tv , if you dont have phone sockets on your tv you can buy a scart-phono adapter which is just a scart lead end with the 3 phono sockets instead of a lead ..

either my batteries dont have enough life in them or my camera is on the way out, but just waiting for someone to let me know the wires for the camera + the adapter for the mains now, then ill give it a try

thanks for that guys, i v done the tv bit, now for the charger and camera bit, iv a white a red and 2 black wires left on the camera, which do i put to the charger wire ? as iv explain on the charger 1 is black and white the other is black ? anyone know ? :hmm:

it doesnt matter which way you put the 2 wires on from the charger just join one to each black wire, red and white dont need to be used unless you want volume

thanks chid21 im doing that right now and will let you know the out come if for some reason im not on here in the next day or two please say your prayers for me, :laugh: im putting my faith in you :icon_eek: and iv never met you, will let you know in 5 mins !

iv just done what what chid21 had advised and i havent been blown up or nothing has gone wrong, but theres nothing coming up on the tv apart from a blue screen so im thinking it may need tuning in ?
