It may be different for birds, but the Peregrines at Chichester have been at it. The female sacked the male off and is /was mating and breeding with a son from a previous year. Spose it depends on species, locale and gene pool size. i know mate were waiting for me ma too calf out ,.......so we can test to see if its mine or me brothers or then maybe it could be dads,..................??
