lifelong cumbrian 1,793 Posted May 25, 2013 Report Share Posted May 25, 2013 A greys g-lite in either 5ft or 5ft 6" is a great little rod, wont overgun trout and get some good fun with sea trout and grilse if the river is not to high. baits I like for trout are a mepp, rapala, toby (home made) metal devon minnow and a one I make myself. grilse on greys g- lite on number 1 mepp (upstream) and 4bl braid. Fishing light lets you fish a small light bait much better. Trout baits, will also take sea trout, salmon. 4 Quote Link to post
