Joe 2 Posted August 9, 2007 Report Share Posted August 9, 2007 I've just got a new shotgun. Not sure of the make but a lovely gun for just a tenner. Seeing as I just got it I had a half an hour walk around my permision at about 8.00pm to test it out. I walked through some marshland to a grass field where I noticed the rabbits were behaving strangely. Obviously there was a fox about so I had a quiet walk around the small cops of trees in the centre of the field. I didn't see anything untill I got to the wood that runs up to the field where a young fox sneaked into the undergrowth. I sat still and gave a couple of squeks untill he returned. Oblivious to the fact I was sitting 5yds from him, uncamouflaged, he sniffed around for at least a minute and then turned his back on me to take a dump. That was the end of that. After the shot a pigeon flew over so I dropped it with the other barrell. Pretty pleased with the gun and look forward to my next outing. Quote Link to post
