Giro 2,648
As in title has anyone got or used "WEBLEY BLACKHAWK XS QUATTRO" ?? I am looking to get a cheaper riffle and this one cheap but not eastern rubbish .. Also seen a "Crossman Nitro Venom Dusk". Am I just being tight and should I go for BSA or WEIHRAUCH.. I have owned Lighting & 95 in the past. I just want this for shooting rabbits on some land at night, while I wait to get FAC. Once I have the Ticket, I image I wont use the air riffle that much. I have sold riffles in the past cause they never got a lot of use and I was hard up Think i will keep what ever riffle i buy this time.. Sold a mint Lighting with Bushnell scopes & bag for £150 few years back Wish I had kept it now. I dont want to buy secound hand. I want new with warenty and gaurantee. gurtwurz 793
i'd spend the extra on a 95 to be honest, webley just aint what they used to be, and neither are bsa for that matter. if you want to stay at the budget end of things i've heard surprisingly good things about the stoeger x20 and the hatsans, as long as you keep your ranges this side of 35yds you should be fine with them. i'd go for the hw however cos if it is a gun you intend to keep then you know that it'll be accurate well out to long range and the build quality SHOULD be loads better, although to be honest i'd say a 20 yr old hw will outshoot a new one all day long, just cos they were shitloads better than current hw standards, particularly cos it seems theyre now importing mainsprings from some scrapheap... cheers, wurz 1 Quote Link to post

Giro 2,648
Cheers lads.. Looked a "Crossman Nitro Venom Dusk" and to be honest it looked and felt decent enought but that was coming in at £220 and a BSA was £250... Was pricing around few local gunsmiths and managed to fine a mint second hand BSA lighting with Scope . I could not turn it down, so just got it few slight marks nowt serious, its been serviced and the seals have been replaced.. So I will be out the back zeroing sights and will be good to go. Apartly them webly quattros and Crossmans are made in China but US brand.. Was fair few reviews for the crossmans on Youtube. If I could of found a old WEIHRAUCH 95 would had one of them, have some found memorys out with them as a youngster. Edited November 15, 2013 by Giro Quote Link to post
