TimJ 0
I got my 10 week old pup on crickets. I lift an old board and out pop the crickets and the pup is going wild killing crickets and stuffing its nose into the ground trying for them. I am chuffed. Quote Link to post

bolohan 0
here's our flame point siamese 2yr old trying to bring another chipmunk home for our almost 9wk patterdale. They will be a pretty good team. The cat Pai Mei will wait silently at the back door with a chipmunk still alive in his mouth, just waiting for someone to open the door. It has already happened once when my daughter went to go out on her bicycle and opened the door. He brought the live chipmunk into the house and let it loose. My wife ended up being the one to catch the little s**t and throw it and the towel she caught him in out the 2nd storey window. He still lived and ran into the bushes. Not the one in the picture though, he didn't make it. We don't let Zip our patterdale after the chipmunks because he is still too little and I don't want him to get bit and be discouraged. The chipmunks do have a breaking point. After being carried and dropped and caught again and again they finally flip a switch and turn into "ninja" chipmunk at which point they will start trying to attack and bite the cat doing flips and somersaults and other crazy acrobatics. The cat usually gets bit and gets angry and finishes them off around this point, however some do manage an escape this way. Only about 10% get away though. Anyway, little Zip does go after little grasshoppers too. Quote Link to post
bshadle 5
But will the cat stay until dug to? Quote Link to post
pointer28 1
Pai Mei??? That's the chick from KILL BILL. Sounds like a vicious bloody cat. Those chipmunks are tiny, I always thought they were ferret sized. Edited August 9, 2007 by pointer28 Quote Link to post
