GEOFF.223 83
Talking to a gentleman who knows his stuff when it comes to rifles (big time) I asked the question about the 10/22s cycling subs he said no problem he said just pull bolt spring out screw 6 coils off cut with pliers job done, he asked ruger them selvs and this is what they suggested. Ruger apparently stated they dont worry about subs not cycling as most of the states have banned sub ammo and moderators. Quote Link to post

danw 1,748
In the United States, taxes and strict regulations affect the manufacture and sale of suppressors under the National Firearms Act. They are legal for individuals to possess and use for lawful purposes in thirty-nine of the fifty states.[26] However, a prospective user must go through an application process administered by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), which requires a Federal tax payment of USD $200 and a thorough criminal background check. The USD 200.00 buys a revenue stamp, which is the legal document allowing possession of a suppressor. The 11 where they are banned : California, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey,New York, Rhode Island, and the District of Columbia. So that would be most of the us infact almost % then that can legally own a mod Edited May 11, 2013 by danw Quote Link to post
