if using 9.5mm steel then singles are best bands its only when larger heavier ammo is used that doubles are needed.

have you looked at the slingshot channel websites theraband calculator?

in some cases double bands can make no difference to lightweight ammo velocities they just make the slingshot FEEL more powerful because of increased effort to draw

Im using 8mm? Lead ammo....again, a gift off atomlab: :thumbs:

 

And some 9.5mm's..... the singles are slinging them at a rapid rate....so singles for me....

 

Unless i want to look 'hard' then ill use doubles :laugh:

they are 8mm steel not lead,did you not notice they stay nice and round :D
