New To Lamping

Hello all I've got a collie x whippet x grey she is 11 months old and wondering for some advice I got told to get a few ferrets will that do the trick as she is shy on the lamp.

send it out on the lamp with a dog that knows its job it will pick it up in no time mate

An 11 month old youngster is a long way off becoming anywhere near the finished article,it will take many,many sessions in the lamp,ferreting,working off a slip or anything else before the mutt starts to show its true ability,let the dog and owner learn slowly,a few mistakes,many a miss and a little frustration will soon be followed by fewer mistakes,less misses and an happier owner.Be patient,then be more patient,put in the time and effort and see the patience slowly rewarded.

Thanks for the reply people I am going to get some ferrets in a few days. Where is there good fields in west midds sorry if in wrong section
