Armour Case For Galaxy 4 - Recommend Me One Please

Recommended Posts

Just ordered me new phone and hunting round for a good case, heard the griffin cases mentioned, and wondering if these are good and any other makes do similar job, but maybe less bulky?

The otterbox ones any good?

Cheers

GRIFFIN

I have to say, I have a griffin for the iPhone and its the mutts nutts. Bulky but takes some abuse.

Well worth the money.

At the time we couldn't find a griffin for the samsung so had to settle for the trident.

Moxy theres no griffin survivor case yet for the galaxy4. Is the Trident as good?

Yes it's fairly good but as with all "super cases"!! If you catch the screen on the corner of something it's fecked.

My young lad regularly ends up wanging the wife's phone. Women there is just no telling them, but anyway. The trident is fairly strong.

The only downside with it,is the hard plastic cover is smooth and offers very little grip. Where as the griffin has a silicone cover over the hard plastic, if you get what I mean.

I found the tridents for sale on evilbay with a best offer option so I got the wife's case fairly cheap compared to amazon or any other cheap uk seller.

I'm not sure I would be dropping a Feckin 18lb weight on it, just to see if it works lol.

Have you seen the video for the griffin I phone case?

  • 1 month later...

Ended up with a snide griffin survivor case from Ebay, reason being griffin still not released one for the S4! Happy enough with it apart from out of 4 or 5 chargers in the house only one is slim enough to be able to plug in due to the profile of the case, talking about a 1mm, probably take a slither of the usb charger if I needed to.

Took the case of the other day after a few weeks, phone is dust grit etc free, so good enough.
