Recommended Posts

why dont you buy a catty of sheffield cattapults or gamekeeper john webb as they already have the bands on and there will be no messing about fitting them, ive had a gamekeeper now for 2 yrs and i cant fault it and the same would go for sheffield cattys

What do you mean by a 'ready made fork'?

If you are meaning one thats ready to go, then i would suggest a wee walk out in the woods with a small saw and find your own natural. I believe they are one of the strongest

Personally, i wouldnt buy from GK john....reason being its too commercial and mass produced.

I like to support the 'little' makers... who make them as a past time hobby, in their spare time.

I have 2 HDPE made from an auld guy, whos taken to making them after 50 years of shooting...and is now retired.

Nothing against the bigger producers.... but supporting the small time guys is very rewarding and the cattys are good
