What is the best time of year to apply for permissions?

Just wondering if there was a optimum time of year to apply for permissions

I hear most farmers go into hibernation from the 28th November - 23rd February. Careful though, cuz its rutting season at the moment!

I would knock doors just now as stuff is breeding theres more chance of a farmer seeing them and wanting something done

i agree with the one. good time when theres more about for them to see..

 

suppose it depends on the individual farmer or golfcourse owner etc..

if you can see 30 pigeons sat on a cattle shed roof when you knock on the farmers door, point them out to him and ask him if hes noticed loads of sh1t everywhere....

i got a 10 acre permission last week of my coisons mates dad due to person who used to shoot ther never used to go and he says they lot of kits about at moment so id door knock now
