BS40liam 203
My 1st lurcher, (not including my dads dog when growing up ) was a whip x grey but now I have a Bedlington whippet who I'm bringing on and at 13 months she's started to really surprise me this is her now . Good luck with what ever you choose bud Lovely looking bitch Liam how tall is she?cheers bud she's 19 inches or so tts, she's had one rabbit on The lamp so far and a couple by luck while out ferreting mooching ect, over the last couple of days a place by me that's never had a rabbit on In The last 7 years all of a sudden is riddle with the things and something has twigged with this little dog and she's starting Hedging as good as any terrier and still gets out fast enough to be up and at um In the open field. Really pleased with how she's going, can't wait for September hopefully the rabbit population picks up around here so that I can finally get her going properly! 1 Quote Link to post
whipbed 42
i,ve got a beddywhippet, and he is turning out ok but can be headstrong at times . this is ok as i,m used to terriers but may not be ok for someone who,s not into that kind of temperement . having said that he,s a lot easier than my terrier and more trainable totally agree with whats been said about quarry and ground you hunt on. do as much research as you can so that you get what you like as well as whats required good luck !
