Wxm 1,638
I had my whippet jabbed up at the vets, 1st was 3 weeks ago and second tues just gone so tomorrow would be the 1st day I could take him across the fields. But the problem I have there's been a few out bursts of parvo around mainly in Oswestry but there been a few down my way. Would you hold it back taking him out for another couple of days or would the jabs be sufficient enough to be able to get him across the fields now?? Cheers in advance
paulus 26
your choice but pups/dogs are not 100% imune to the parvo virus even after the jabs.
ruby16 80
i would leave it another couple of days but as paulus says its still not 100%.
bracken boy 584
hell id stay away from infected areas, ask yourself is it worth it?
Wxm 1,638
I'm sure another few days or a week won't hurt him, I did ask the vets if there's much in Wrexham and he said there's been cases but its been because people have bought pups in and they've came down with it within a few days of bringing the pup home. Coming from the Oswestry area mostly
LaraCroft 863
Fair amount around this way, I avoid any areas that I know are high risk, even though I know mine are jabbed. Mostly parks and high dog popular areas though, very little off the beaten track.
