oakey 57
I have recently bought a air compressor from ALDI there is a tool with it called a cleaner looks a bit like a old oil can . Can anyone give me any advice on what to put in it to clean alloy wheels as it says its a paraffine cleaner and i wouldnt fancy using paraffine around brake pads that may get hot ? slingshot82 32
Definitely do not use paraffin, you will struggle to stop when braking lol. Sounds like you've got a paraffin gun mate, they are used for cleaning engine parts etc. I wouldn't use one for cleaning alloy wheels even with alloy wheel cleaner as it will use use way more than you would cleaning them by hand.
