I can see it now, As the morning air was crisp, and the townies slept a ginger man stepped out into the shimmering meadows, trap in hand, snares in pocket, totally at one with the countryside, followed by a fluttering of moths and a gaggle of grubs at his feet. The hard feel of steel chilled his fingers to the bone, as he set trap after trap against the unexpected conies, snares placed uniformly with deadly precision along the long tapering fencelines, trapper hat at the ready, and a 946 mile mink line in tow...
