thenetter 37
hi there, couldn't get out today so dicided to make a couple of fox nets.I make a lot of rabbit nets but i thought I'd see how the fox nets looked.I get to about three foot long, and when I reached the end of the row, I found that I'd missed a mesh - - - - - - -.now I cant remember the last time I made a cock up but it has happened. The thing is I know I should unpick the row to the missed mesh, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. what do you guys do when this happens, I wish there was a quick fix ??. Quote Link to post
bobcullen79 1,495
Gather the meshes together and cut next to the knots on the row below the slip. Un-pick the tag ends of the knots (piece of cake with a horse shoe nail) rejoin your twine and you ready to go again. Cut the knots one at a time or you might make the cut in the wrong place. I used to unpick everything when I had a slip, but the time it takes, I found your better off cutting it away. Hope it makes sense. You will know which row to cut as the slip will line up with the row thats got to come off. Quote Link to post
