A1WOC 212
NiteSite have now introduced a lightweight battery that fits onto the rifle stock. Some members of this and other forums have been using imported LI Po batteries from China for some time, including myself too. The photo illustrates how they look when attached to the top of the camera module and connecting sleeve with adhesive backed velcro on my NS50 and also my home made setup. The coiled wire on the NiteSite has since been shortened to tidy it up. Regards, Steve Edited March 16, 2013 by A1WOC Quote Link to post
porkycrook 466
Steve I have also gone the way of the lighter batteries from China having bought two for my one NS50, I am going to copy you with battery placement because I have been keeping it I my jacket pocket. I have got my wife looking out for elasticated Velcro, so I can have it mounted to the side of my stock. It will be interesting to see how much Nite-Site want for a battery that we know costs £25, my guess is they will want £. Quote Link to post

Mister Gain 1,764
Although my setup is the Nite Eye NE500 it's pretty similar to the NS's. It came with a small chinese Li-ion battery (85x42x26mm), but it looked crap using elastic bands to hold it to the butt, and I didn't want to put it in a pocket so thought about making a butt cover. Before committing, I had a browse on the interweb and came across the Jack Pyke Neoprene stock bullet holder. Decided to buy one and took away some of the bullet dividing stitching, 4 in total, it was a bit fiddly but came out quite well, and cost under £7.50. Quote Link to post
