Tikka T3 Scope Mounts

I finally did it. I bought myself a Tikka T3 lite in .223. All the scope mounts I have here are for rimfire or airguns, so probably won't cope with extra oomph of a centrefire.

I have a reasonable Bushnell scope, so can anyone recommend a decent long-lasting set of mounts?

I would be choosing between Optilock and MAKuick.

I am not impressed with Optilock, although everyone else will say how wonderful they are.

 

I have/do use Optilock, Warne and Sportsmatch on my Tikkas, they all work.

 

There is no need to spend double the money for Optilock.

 

I also understand Leupold and Burris offer mounts for Tikka.

 

Don't know MAKuick as mentioned in post above.

The .223 is not aggressive in any way and any mounts that can take a springer air rifle will be fine.

 

The problem you have is not that your mounts aren't up to the job, but the Tikka rail is wider so they will not fit!
