Funnily enough mate that's this weeks lesson ... I haven't felt she is ready mentally until now ... A little to intense but she is now settling down enough to show her a bit .......... I put Finn on trotting at an even younger age due to his back injury, trotting forced him to use both legs equally, and he coped very well. From a dog with a wedge fracture of the spine to a full out lamper so there must be some merit to it. Id worry that some may over do it but at six months all but the largest crosses should be getting decent sensible exercise. Look at most elite athletes they were training as children/ teenagers and it sets them up rather than knocks them down as long as they are not pushed into injury. 1 Quote Link to post
