Larsen Scores Its First Victim

Recommended Posts

Hi chap's, had the trap out in the garden now for just over a week, came back from the gym this morning and one bird had gone in.

My method of catching the first bird is quite simple.

Put the trap out for a few days in your chosen spot for a few days with no food near it, then after a few days put dry cat food on the top...no need for a bowl as it will only get knocked off. After a few days the birds will get confident landing on top. When you see them on top feeding, its time to put a bowl of food inside. I tie it to the cage so its leavel with the broken perch. No need to put food on top at this point as you want the bird to enter the trap...Its now down to the hungrey eyed magpie to jump in and get his food...Simple and as easy as that.!!

Marty.
