grandadknows 0 Posted February 18, 2013 Report Share Posted February 18, 2013 Today, the start of a new week, has been a real treat. Winter, here in Aberdeenshire, has been cold and wet. Not too much snow, this time round but quite a depressing period. Brilliant sunshine greeted me at 6.50hrs and stayed for the whole day. I managed to fit two new windows to one of my hen houses, and I managed to tray up some veg and herbs, for us over the next year. The wife is cracking the whip, expecting a conservatory build, a second greenhouse, a poly tunnel and fruit trees. Well it has only been 8 years in the waiting, so I guess I should try my best. Luckily I have three young sons who can do the hard work. Looking forward to contributing to the forums and have some interesting swaps in mind, to advance my 'hunting' abilities. Bye for now. Yes, the weather certainly did take a turn for the better over the weekend, my wife reminded me of a few jobs that require attention - they do have such wonderful memories for these things wives, don't they?
