Advice Needed

Hi Guys,

 

New to shooting and just starting to get some gear together, so would appreciate some advice from the more experienced hide builders on here.

 

What size net should I buy ?

 

Has anyone had any dealings with A1Decoys? Are they worth spending money with?

Hey bud, net size depends on how many of you will usually be shooting or if u take the dog with u. I find a 3x1.5 meter is ample. The bigger the net the more effort to blend in, and a large decoy bag is a good thing to have. A1 seem good too, bought some full body decoys and they were delivered fast. Hope this is a help

I've found A1 decoy ok too - good for price, pretty quick delivery in my experience.

Haha sometimes it's better being on ya own pal, other people talk and make ya miss birds (well that's my excuse lol) and dogs although they mean well get on ya tits lol. Sure a mate will wanna get in on it when ya start with the big bags.

Having shot everything else I only stared decoying pigeons last year and bought everything from them as they were not only the cheapest, but also answered the phone (which wasn't an 0870 number) and then delivered very quickly.

I am a newbie and am just putting my kit together, initially I will be shooting crows and magpies with my air rifle from the hide, but am also in the process of applying for a SGC.

 

I hope to start shooting pigeons over decoys May/June time.
