woodcote1 88
I had two hours to spend under my favourite sitty tree this morning and i was anxious to blood my new 410 carbine. Signs were good when i arrived as i could see two woodies sitting. I dressed myself in my 3d suit and took up position in the ambush spot around 25 yards from the branches that get used. After 10 minutes i spotted a couple of magpies out in the field. I shook my Magpie call a couple of times and they flew straight at me landing about 5 yards away before high tailing it to another field. About an hour passed and a buzzard landed and soon invited the company of the 2 magpies. One landed in view but a dose of buck fever sent my shot into the branches in front of him. My 2 hours were up and feeling totally disheartened i made a decision to pack up. On cue a dozen woodies landed, i picked my target, gave him half a mil hold under and squeezed the trigger. The AA field knocked him straight out the tree and a huge smile has stayed on my face since. 1 Quote Link to post
