Any idea what it would be worth then Whippet? Ive a mate who`s collecting the olympic coins, I thought he was nutty. Im gonna keep an eye out for `73 2p`s, what makes them so sought after then? When I first got it, I put it on ebay for £300 starting bid, after seeing that 10er. I had about 43 watchers, but it didnt sell, I guess people where scared of getting ripped off with a fake. I had a look into the 2p`s and its actually coins from `83, with "new pence" on them instead of "two pence"... worth around £250. Theres only around 400 going about though.
