Matt 160
Rather disappointing to join this site's forum and find that it is little more than a prospective retail outlet from one of those recommending it. That, is out of order. You were invited to join the forum even though you aren't a member of the site. The forum is there to discuss mole catching and mole catching equipment. It is NOT a sales outlet. The fact that I am able to offer some surplus equipment to fellow mole catcthers at a good price has nothing to do with the forum itself; you seem to have got into a right tizzy because I offered to find out how much it would cost to send you a probe out to France to replace that bit of old sheep fencing that you currently use. Your reaction is totally out of proportion, and frankly, childish. Are you going to leave THL because there is a sales section? The only looser in all of this is you. You've chosen not to remain a member of that forum just in case anyone ever offers you something for sale. It seems very strange. The site itself will continue connecting mole catchers with potential clients, and the members will continue to discuss issues and ideas amongst themselves with our without you. 1 Quote Link to post
Le Braconnier 49
No. I have already left the Mole Catchers UK forum because I have all the traps I need for the moment, a spade and a probe. That piece of bent fence wires is for clearing runs, and locating where the tunnel goes, not initially probing for them, which you would appreciate if you had read my post more closely. In the two days during which I logged onto that site you have recommended BR traps, declared that you are an agent for them and also offered probes and spades for sale. When you read back to your posts on here you can see the business plan formulating. How long before you are flogging that stuff you dip your traps in? I'll stay on here and leave the commercial channel to others. Quote Link to post
