gibby 0
LMAO.... only kidding! Nah nothing funny about it your obviously concerned. Personally I wouldnt worry about it. My smallest jill kit fights with a big hob kit all the time. He used to always have the advantage over her but now she pounces on him and everything and its a fair fight! Its so funny to watch I love watching them playfight! If they are sleeping together they obviously dont hate each other, playfighting is just part of them growing up and growing in confidence. If anything your wee one will become as tough as nails (and by that I dont mean aggresive towards humans) due to learning the hard way so to speak My wee one seems to have . If he ends up cut or injured thats the cue to seperate them though I would say. Quote Link to post
Kay 3,709
I would only seperate if the smaller ferret becomes obviously withdrawn & off its food, as well as trying to escape from the bigger ones attentions, Why not have the bigger one out first & tire it out engaging it in loads of play for half an hour or so, then bring the smaller one out first, they drag each other round by the neck, ears, face & head its rough play but normal, they squeel at each other also, thats perfrctly normal just watch the situation & act accordingly, if the tiny ones obviously distressed then just pop it back in the cage i dont believe in this chuck them in together and let them get on with it attitude , you have to just observe there behaviour & deal with each little issue as they come up Quote Link to post

ferret15 0
i think just oversellious play just keep an eye on his neck and if it gets sore then you may have to seprate them but there are a few things you can do before this get a bigger hutch or run multi layerd as they love climbing (if they can do this they wear themselves out ) split the toys in two give them half one day and half the next if they have the toys all the time they will lose intrest in them and dont worrie to much if theres no blood being drawn its not to seriouse Quote Link to post
