at the moment shes on bakers and harringtons .....wat would you suggest i feed her with

Neither of them putting bakers into a bully is like putting rocket fuel in a mini!!

If you have to feed complete look for a meal that have a high portion of meat and low protein under 20% is what I stick to but if your animal will take a raw diet it's well worth it for the dog, there's loads of info on here for feeding this way.

Cod liver oil heating? Nonsense, digested and utilized just the same as evening primrose oil but cheaper.

More real info here

I guess that's where practical experience comes into it, I don't just read and google links. Its not a great thing to give to a dog which is suffering from hot scratchy skin. Just a little tip that's all. ;)

Thanks for the links, but I know what Atopic Dermatitis is only to well.

Regards Sirius

LOLI've a fair bit of experience, having grown up with greys and lurchers and owning/training the type for the past 50 years. Then I've also owned a dog with this problem so have first hand experience, on top of that I've a good understanding of the immune system. I do back up what I say with good links so people can have a little extra info, why do you find that odd?

Perhaps you will explain what experience you have as you seem to believe in every supplement that is mentioned on here?

much appreciate all your replys, have changed her to a meat only diet now . ill keep you all updated on how she goes fingers crossed........all she does is scratch scratch scratch ....must be driving her around the twist .....

Another thing, when washing the dogs bedding don't use detergents, just put the dogs bedding on a hot wash. This also help with a dog that I had that had a reaction to washing powder being used.

Stopped the scratching.
