stinkers 102
Got my netmaking gear yesterday......2 big f**k ups. It is my first time making them So started on a third and got the hang of it. Finnished that one and looks good nice and neat. Ob the fourth attempt seemed to be going ok ....got near the end of a row and looped into the mesh and when i pulled it towards the mesh board it was about half inch longer than the rest of the meshes. Still cant work out how. Managed to get around it but now starting my fifth net and hopefully will have no problems with it. Fingers are a bit tender and a nice blister on the side of me finger....but quite enjoyable once you get into it.....just hope some bunnies get into them at the weekend. 1 Quote Link to post

Very satisfying making your own nets, but even more so when you catch bunnies in them. Well done. Are they spun poly? Quote Link to post

Yeah spun poly seemed the best option...nice and bright out in the field longer lasting and hopefully less debri with them. Quote Link to post

stinkers 102
my first two went in the bin  it gets easy quick Aye mine too.....got the hang of it fairly quickly, once the first two rows are done its a lot easier, still taking a fair amount of time to make one though but should have it up too speed by the end of the week. Wanting about 30-40 made up. Then if i feel confident i may try a long net after i done them. Give me something to do during the summer. . Quote Link to post
