Traditionalhunter 98
Did anyone read this weeks countrymans weekly in regards to a member of the countryside alliance calling for the RSPCA to be stripped of its Royal Title due to it becoming a politically motivated organisation, stated that 'it was once a great institution, but the direction it's going is very sad.'. It talks about the RSPCA becoming more of an Animal Rights polictically motivated organisation and that it actually breaches the charitable objectives set by the Charity Commission. So looking at the Charity Commissions Regulatory Risk Framework, it states that Parliament have gave them 5 statutory objectives, these objectives by law have to be followed. These 5 objectives are as follows: 1) To increase public trust and confidence in the charities 2) To promote awareness and understanding of the operation of the public benefit requirement 3) To promote compliance by charity trustees with their legal obligations in exercising control and management of their charities 4) To promote effective use of charitable resources 5) To enhance the accountability of charities to donors, beneficiaries and the public then the Charity Commission states that it has a 'wide discretion' as to how they achieveing these objectives and carrying out their functions. So they have the freedom to decide how to implement these but in regards to the RSPCA are them implementing 1, 2, 4 and 5? With the ongoing RSPCA vindictive targeting of honest countrymen and woman practising legal country sports, the RSPCA say that they have '£116 million annual costs' which are supported by donors, how many of this £116 million fund operations that achieve nothing but harrassment of honest people, do the donors know that when they donate to the RSPCA they fund such operations and i suspect a minimul amount goes to taregting animal cruelty, The RSPCA supposedly set up 'Lurcher' advertisements to gain some sort of intel, is this spending donations wisely, if the public found out where there funds were going would the still trust and have confidence in the RSPCA, I dont think they would and I would call upon the Charity Commission to look into how the money is being spent, how much of it is being spent on poltically motivated operations that have low if any prosecution or success rates. By alone targeting the hunting community and countryside community results in public trust and confidence deminishing. Look at the current case with one of our members 'Lurcherman' they have stolen his dog, and a rapid decline in the dogs health has been evident when the owner went to visit the dog, this is cruelty, the psychological effects of a dog being taken from a loving home and put into kennels rarely seeing its owner what does it benefit a dog to have such a thing happen? they have also built a case on what appears to be insufficient evidence, why are the courts allowing the RSPCA to bring such cases? The Charity Commission also states in their Regulatory Risk Framework that as the law require charities must 'act independently of any private, governmental or political interests' It would appear the RSPCA are not 'acting independently' but are anti-hunting poltically motivated, to hunt is not illegal nor is it animal cruelty yet they go above and beyond to try and prosecute innocent hunters, sometimes carrying out operations based on false information most likely provided by the anti's. I recall as do many others a good while ago when the anti's put together what can only be described as a barbaric propaganda video where they caused unneccesary suffering to animals and said it was down to the hunting community they were outted but did the RSPCA investigate this fully, As far as i remember they failed to do so. The RSPCA should be focusing solely on abolishing animal cruelty, has something that started of good with good aims gone astray? It appears that the Charitable Commission objectives have been breached by the RSPCA what are you thoughts on this? All the best, Traditional
MATTI 34
At one time the general public thought Jimmy Saville was doing good things for the country, the truth comes out eventually.
