pegandgun 52
Had a rake out late this aftrnoon with Peterthebeater on some stalking of mine.Saw loads of signs of Roe but didnt see any.Pete spotted a dog fox (dont know how the f**k he saw it) stood on a tram line in some standing corn at about 130yds.I took him through the head,he was recovering from Mange! We carried on and had an hours lamping on some other permision.Spotted a spookey fox which we followed for two or three fields and eventually got a shot at it.I took that vixen through the head as well and paced it out at 217yds.The .222 is a very accurate round!!!!!!! Guest whippet
What cal. is the rifle in the first pic? Nice T3 in the 2nd pic though, I put a shot through one in .223 today, with the T4 on it was very quiet and I barely felt the recoil. Quote Link to post
pegandgun 52
First fox was a.223 and the second fox was a .222.Both brill calibres.Ive got a T8 but havent had my rifles threaded yet.My old .222 was silenced with a Hushpower, very quiet but too long! Quote Link to post
