Mosey On Down To The Pond Hole

Hi Lads and Lasses, Well today saw me dogless, after a silly injury yesterday involving an over zealous rescue lurcher

nipping my charge on the ass requiring a couple of staples by the vet. But before the incident yesterday my good old trusty

dog gave some nice marks on the big pond hole at my nearest permission.

 

I got up at 5:45 with the lad and let Mrs Seany Have a lye-in (cause im a good husband dont you know )

And I arrived at the farm around 8;00 to see the sun rise

 

 

I was cloaked in mist as I set my two fifty yard quick-sets out

 

There was alot of hole hopping on this trip I really could of done with the dog to push them to the nets and should have really took a couple of stop nets as the rabbits kept toing and frowing from one section to the next. but the Hob and Jill worked well as a team sticking to rabbits in stop-ends. I had three digs today one to two rabbits and two to single rabbits.

so a nice relaxing morning, finished at 11:00 with a nice bag of eight, gave the ferrets a drink of tea then back home for a sunday dinner

Sounds like a great morning out pal. Have being wondering about taking a drink along for the ferrets, will try the tea.
