And what countrys would that same person have to patent said idea if it was an idea that may appeal to the car industry? Just a random discussion in the pub Firstly get a proper patent search done,(£200-500)this is a worldwide search and will determine the validity of your product, be sure to get a non disclosure agreement singed before revealing any details, Be patient the whole patent process takes time and will also cost a few quid Good luck with your project if you need any more help just ask Ben.
