Morning wander,trip to vets

Out for the usual wander the smorrning with the 3 dogs noticed the lurcher didint seem right when got home checked her over found large graze in her chest and a couple on her legs but her chest between her legs was full of fluid about the size of a large orange phoned vet she said bring her down and I will check her over seems she has run into something and might have broken the point of her sternum so given anti imflamitary injection plus pills back on sat morn for check up and then x rays on Monday. £58 quid the smorrning who knowes what for the next visits but she's worth it.

That's a bit of bad luck but i would of thought they would of kept her in and done a Xray ASAP..

Back to vets today swelling went down still fluid about no bone damage but has damaged muscle in chest another 7 days rest and should be back to her self.

Do you not know any greyhound guys close to you mate save going to the vets with knocks?

as baw says get down to the local dog track and get the dog check out save your self some money and these lads know running dogs better than the vet will atb
