Strange?

Went to a farm today were they are having problems with cattle stepping in burry entrances. Put the collar on my Hob and sent him into the first warren a couple of seconds latter the usual thumping and banging around began, much to my dogs delight. Out bolted the first rabbit duely lifted by the dog. next one had the same fate. All went quite so i checked to see were the ferret was. No problem the locator picked him up wright away. Off i went to the next one, put the ferret to ground, and waited, a single rabbit bolted missed, by the dog i must add. So after a few minutes i searched for the hob, no sign, on the locator. Seen him at the entrance i placed him, as soon as he left the burry the locator picked him up. So just to see what was going on i placed him at the entrance again, as soon as he entered the burry the locator would not pick him up.(i could see him in there about 2 ft down). When he came out this time i moved to another warren and i had no problems with the locator at all, it worked perfectly. Any ideas why this would be happening at this warren. I'm lost! :(

Not saying every farmer does this but you quite often find whole loads of shit burried in and around farms.

Our garden which used to hold livestock and was lived in by the farmer was amazing. I found two, yes two butler sinks buried in the ground and that was just for starters.

Probably an old car blocking the signal :D

Probably a sheet of metal I had escapades last season ferreting under a sheet of tin cladding (well about 30 stacked!). Never knew it would block the signal (should have thought  ) luckily I never had a layup! Never got any rabbits either 2 or 3 bolted from missed holes
