Froudy 40
Hi everyone I've been ferreting for about 15 years now and have always used a wooden ferret box with a bit of hay or straw in the bottom of it, and always found when the box is on the ground when I'm doing the burrows the ferrets always scratches the side of the box like mad making so much noise, wondered if there was a way of stopping this was think of putting something on the sides but then would it be to hot inside the box? reddawn 2,173
its summat that used to seriously fook me off mate, an i admit to using too many ferrets in most places just cos i cant bear to listen to the fooker scratting at the inside of the box, i always put it down to the ferrets wanting out to work, but i got meself a new box off a guy n this site, an instead a wee airholes, its got a folk down flap, with airholes i should add, but when ye fold down the front, it leaves a mesh window, an now my ferrets dont scratch the box, so i take it, it was more down to them being nosey wee fookers an wanting to look out, but being unable to throo a hole only big enuff to let the nose out, ill find a link to the thread with pics, as i dont have pics on this comp Quote Link to post
