Wanted, advise on legality of hunting

Recommended Posts

Ok so basically I live near todmorden west yorks. My local walks in all directions will eventually bring me to moorland, you know the type all you can see for miles is open space dotted with wild heather. Now these places are covered in bunnies but.... Where do I stand from a legal point of view to work my dogs on it, as far as I am aware it's not national trust and not all of it is private grazing. Any advise will be brilliant.

Cheers guy.

There is no 'wild' land in this country: if it isn't owned by something like the National Trust, then it is privately owned, even thought the land owner may never have set foot in the place or indeed barely knows of its existence. You can be sure that someone will see you hunting (God forbid, nasty barbaric act that it is :icon_eek: ) and report you, sooner or later. There is no freedom today: anywhere :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:
