Andy Passmoor 4
One of my modern game hens seems to be really unsteady on her feet and can't seem to get her balance, I brought her indoors and put her under a heat source as it was freezing during the night and I thought that might have something to do with her condition. Any advice would be great thanks

patterdalejoel 669
id try a lower protein content as sometimes it can make them grow too fast and heavy for their legs... try her on maize or whole wheat

darbo 4,779
id try a lower protein content as sometimes it can make them grow too fast and heavy for their legs... try her on maize or whole wheat maize is low in protein but high in fat . to feed a whole maize diet is too much for a young bird. i give it to adult birds sparingly over winter to put a bit of fat on to help with the cold weather. i dont think the problem with the bird is diet.could be a number of things but unfortunatly im not a vet.
