moocher123 132 Posted December 2, 2012 Report Share Posted December 2, 2012 this is what i do with my put she has just gone 3 nhalf months... i started to walk her some where quiet for ten minutes off the lead doing recall then put her on the lead and goto a place that is not wide enough for a young teenager to lay in but has some lengh so she only has one way to come back which is to me i throw the dummy 4 times then on the other day i will use a tennis ball i trained her every other day i did this as soon as she was aloud out now i have moved onto open fields still only retrieving four times and she does it 100% and she jumps and retrieves now as well only 4 ft if im honest i would watch purdys progress follow every step you cant go wrong on the dvd i wouldnt do the show training he does as wouldnt need my lurcher to that but he know his stuff hope this helps ya as this pup i have is 100% for her age and thats what i have done and she is coming upto 4 months now Quote Link to post
