jcm 2,327
Well dax is 11 weeks old tomorrow and is as bold as anything, he doesn't leave the lurchers side and does everything with him, they have there own food bowls but dax will still pop his head in the lurchers food bowl and help him eat his bait and the lurcher let's him, there not stop playing in the house and garden. He's had all his vaccines so this week he got to go out for a little walk with my other dog and a mate's two dogs as he will be working along side some of these other dogs on the future, anyway I live 2 minutes away from a massive dene what holds a few rabbits around the path so when I havnt got time to get them out for a decent walk I take them here to work some cover and the bolt the odd rabbit, anyway I had the pup with me walking round the dene, the other dogs started working the cover and the next thing I know the pup has gone from my feet, he's only in the bushes with the other dogs, he obviously couldn't keep up with the other dogs but Tbh I don't think he cared he was smelling every thing getting used to all the smells and sounds. So I'm well chuffed with him and relay happy the lurcher has taken to hin so well, Quote Link to post
