My new prezzy to myself came today, a fully tuned/customised smk 78. It has been basically hand built and there is very little left of the original gun. Just been for a shoot, ragged 1 hole group with H&N FTT .22 @20m. Here is the thread on how it was built. http://ukchineseairg...1296.php#151296

Wow thats the best looking SMK rifle of any type or model I've ever seen. Fair play to you sir . You've actually managed to turn a sows ear into a silk purse, well done . I hope that the very bleedin surprised smiley .

Not had alot of time to get it down the range. I did shoot for a few mins before work yesterday. Shot at a leaf about 17 m away ( solid wall backstop in my garden ) then managed to put 3 more shots thru the same hole, and that was with a very slight wind. Not sure what the shot count is yet. Supposed to be about 100 per fill.

I am waiting for a valve to come from china to convert my main fill station, the other one I have is a little dodgy and made for a fire extinguisher, there is a little leaking from the bottle connector when charging, so I dont think I am getting a full fill in yet.
