Guest cookiemonsterandmerlin Posted November 3, 2012 Report Share Posted November 3, 2012 Well a bright cold frost and wind greeted me this morning with good numbers spotted all week hopes where high. A chat with a farmer last night to say he has combined a small section of maize but had to give up as just too wet . Arrived early was going blind but shot the fields hundreds of times so guessed and pitched under some small ash. It was slow but steady with birds going to top of the hawthorns around the field so I popped a couple of lofters in top of the ash and pulled alot more . Had a another call while out there of some drilling and was covered passed it on way home and to say there was 10000 birds on it so off again tomorrow . Had good finnish 2 Quote Link to post
