It's a "thrower" and not a "flooder", but that said the beam is pretty good for using it as a spotter. I'm not sure it'd be a beam to run a dog on? But I don't run dogs either so I wouldn't be the best to ask about it's usefulness for that, if that's what yer asking lol. I haven't had them out side by side but I'd say a lightforce can be tightened up a lot mroe than the TN31. if not the tn 31 what would you say for running dog I know you don't run a dog (suggestions) cheers relic2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
