jimmy.jim86 1 Posted October 23, 2012 Report Share Posted October 23, 2012 Just been playing with a mk1 I had off here with 3 collars from diff people and accuracy of finder jumps a bit with 5 ft being right and 7 ft right but 6 is not far off 5 any ideas? Brimmer 220 Posted October 23, 2012 Report Share Posted October 23, 2012 Make sure the collar is in an upright position like it would be on a ferrets neck, it shocked me how accurate a collar and box is like this. A member off here pointed it out, try laying the collar down on its side and see how far off the reading can be! Quote Link to post

charlie nelly1 142 Posted October 25, 2012 Report Share Posted October 25, 2012 mate to be honest it sounds about right if im honest, 5 foot is ok, so is 7, wouldnt worry so much about 6 being nearer to 5, mine is'nt so good but finds the ferret every time pretty much 100% Quote Link to post
