hi mate i would have two main lines one at 6m fishing caster and chopped worm and 10m i would fish pellet feed 2m pellets and exspander or soft hooker pellets 4 or 6m and down the margin left and right of you i would cup a cup of neat and corn at the start leave the margins until later but top up evey so often put a pole pot of caster and worm your pellet lines put half a cup of feed pellets a few hookers in i know you want carp but this is the way i fished a match last saturday this way and had 70 odd pound mostly of barble and bream with a few carp but catch other fish and the carp will show up tight lines mate dont forget its going to be cold this weekend  john

havent fished it this year mate if its not to cold during the night you could well get a good days fishing they have there own open matches and also club matches on i would check first but they always keep a lake or two for pleasure anglers and you have to use there own pellets you buy them on site you will start catching the bream first step up your feed and the carp will turn up even the lines your not fishing dont forget to feed to the bites get into a routine but dont forget your caster and worm line theres some very nice roach in there and bream theres perch to 3lb let me know how you get on mate atb  john

i would use dampend micro pellets 2or3m i then fill the method feeder first cast then clip up i would put three loads in then i iwould attach my 4inch hooklink size 16 hook with a pellet band on use a 6m pellet in the band or try corn meat now and again see what the fish want on the day and sit on your hands and wait for a rap round no need to strike just lift into the fish i dont really use bait on the method these days i use a little 6m polly ball with a shot 2inches from the hook white or yellow being the best colours the fish trying to eject the baits its to late its hooked if you get lots of liners slacken your line abit hope this helps atb  john
