first visit to my first permission

went up to a my first permission today, a good size farm with plenty of fields to choose from, all thanks to smecky so cheers mate appreciate it & il get you that bottle of whisky when we meet up ha. stayed up there for a few hours having a look around, unfortunately i didnt get my first kill but theres plenty more time to go back & looking forward to it. ive got a lot to learn & Jasons been more than helpful with tips & offering to meet up & show me things, spoke to a few mates & they say theres not many people that would give you their permission. hopefully my next post il have some pics of my first kill. this is my new gun, feels nice & looking forward to alot of shooting to be had with it. http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/y472/jamie-l82/6163538A-CB49-46E9-8D0E-AF3A138A708B-8353-00000353ECA06C84_zpsca4772e2.jpg

Id spend the first couple of visits pacing things out and working out distances etc... and looking out for tell tale signs of rabbits etc... holes & poo etc so you know where they are likely to be!

thanks for the advice mate, il do that, had a good walk round but only saw birds & by the time id got round to them theyd gone were i walked from ha, cheers.
